Appleseed Strategy leads ASLA Firm Leadership Accelerator Program

It's been an honor for us to develop and lead the Firm Leadership Accelerator Program for the American Society of Landscape Architects. The program immerses participants in the pragmatics of starting up or taking over a business or studio. Its four complementary components provide the tools and social support system to help firm leaders thrive: cohort-building, online expert speaker seminars paired with business plan work sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and an Industry Day with leading professionals.

The pilot launched in April 2026 and achieved its target maximum enrollment of 30. Participants come from across the U.S. and include recent and aspiring startups as well as members of large landscape architecture and multidisciplinary firms. Kacey Clagett worked closely with ASLA and Glenn LaRue Smith of PUSH Studio on the program's development for three years prior to its launch. She leads the online sessions. Kacey and Tiany Galaskas were guest speakers for the program's marketing, business development, and visibility segment.
